About The Role
Balmers GM are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our growing e‑commerce team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a positive, can‑do attitude who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to take ownership of our online sales platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain product listings across Shopify, eBay and Amazon
- Optimise product data including titles, descriptions, item specifics and attributes
- Manage pricing updates and adjustments
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Enter and maintain accurate data within product management systems
- Support the onboarding of new e‑commerce projects
- Manage the full customer journey, resolving queries and complaints promptly
- Work with customers to prevent or resolve negative feedback
- Prepare supplier orders and customer shipments
- Oversee stock inventory and ensure accurate stock levels
- Manage the returns process, including troubleshooting product issues and processing refunds
- Identify opportunities to improve listing performance and conversion rates
- Ensure all online listings remain accurate, up to date and compliant
- Carry out clerical duties including data entry and record maintenance
- Organise office documents and maintain efficient filing systems
- Help streamline e‑commerce operations through improved digital processes
What We’re Looking For
- Previous administrative and/or data entry experience
- Knowledge or interest in e‑commerce marketplaces such as Shopify, eBay and Amazon
- A natural problem-solver with a strong can‑do attitude
- Proactive, self‑motivated and able to manage your own workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer‑centric approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills across customers, sales, support and management teams
- Knowledge of garden and ground‑care brands or machinery is advantageous
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: £28,080 – £29,120 per annum
- Full-time hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (plus Saturday AM rota)
