Stihl Leaf Blowers - What you need to know!

When it comes to clearing leaves from your patios, gardens or lawns, many of us sweep or rake them. However, this is often a time consuming and laborious task, especially as the days get colder and damper. But here at Balmers GM, we’ve got some fantastic options that will expedite this process, leaving you wondering why you’ve been raking leaves all these years!

The secret? Leaf blowers! They do exactly what they say on the tin, but some of the more powerful options are also excellent tools for tackling twigs and other debris too. If you’re daunted by the sheer scale of your leaf coverage, then raking or sweeping are impractical options, perhaps you have limited mobility, or simply find the Autumn months too cold to spend an age raking leaves.

Our Stihl leaf blowers offer something for everyone, from corded leaf blowers, ideal if you only need to work a small area, to our cordless leaf blowers that come with battery packs and our petrol range, which are perfectly suited to larger-scale work, we’ve got an option to suit you.

Petrol Leaf Blowers

We stock a range of Stihl leaf blowers, with both handheld and back-pack models available. We’ll start with the BG 56 C-E, a powerful, low emission handheld leaf blower that is perfect for clearing leaves and debris from around the home or on paths and driveways. The ErgoStart technology makes starting it up effortless, and at only 4.1kg it is light enough to carry for extended periods if necessary.

We also stock the Stihl BG 66 C-E and the BG 86 C-E models, these models feature an anti-vibration system and locking throttle lever with stop button which is designed to increase user comfort for prolonged periods of use.

The BG 56 C-E and BG 86 C-E are versatile too – they can be easily converted into a garden vacuum with the vacuum attachment, giving you the option of sucking up and shredding your leaves rather than blowing them into a pile. Also available for the blower is a gutter cleaning set for clearing the dirt and leaves that have built up in your hard-to-reach gutters.

While those hand-held models are great for small scale leaf clearing jobs, our back-pack petrol blowers are perfectly suited for much larger jobs, whether it be a public park or a large private garden, Whether you’re looking for something with low weight and high performance, an adjustable nozzle, or need pure power for the most extensive cleaning tasks, our Stihl BR range has got something to suit you.
