New Parts and After-Sales Representative - North West

Kristian Brigden has been appointed the new Parts and After-Sales Representative for Balmers GM.

Predominantly being out on the road and based out of our Burnley depot, Kristian is now responsible for maintaining existing and developing new relationships with Local Authority customers throughout the North West, with support from our depot based parts and service after-sales team at Burnley.

Kristian Brigden joined Balmers GM in 2018 as Depot Co-ordinator at Balmers GM Wakefield, where he was responsible for managing the day to day operations of the depot. He has now been promoted to this newly created position from July 2020.

The role will involve Kristian being the first point of contact for our local authority customers and their spare part and consumable requirements. Kristian will be carrying a limited amount of parts stock on his vehicle and will able to process orders out on site whilst with the customer, therefore speeding up the whole parts process.

In addition, Kristian will be managing the impressed parts stock at a number of our existing Local Authority customers, and in addition, encouraging new customers to carry impressed parts stock in order to streamline their spare parts management in order to reduce their machinery downtime.

Sab Casooji; Balmers GM’s Group Parts Manager said “Over time it has become apparent that there is a requirement for a Balmers representative to be in regular face-face contact with our commercial customers in order to give them the after-sales support they require when running a fleet of ground-care machinery. With Kristian’s previous experience at Balmers GM, he’s the perfect candidate to fulfil this new position and we are looking forward to seeing how Kristian develops this new role.”
