Balmers GM offers five models in the 1500 series of front rotary mowers: 1550, 1570, 1575, 1580, and 1585. The 1550, 1570, and 1575 models are equipped with a single-speed, 4WD transmission and can achieve speeds of up to 12 mph.
Each John Deere front rotary mower model runs on a stage 5 diesel engine, operating at either 24.2hp (1550) or 37.4hp (1570, 1575, 1580 and 1585) respectively. The 1580 and 1585 models have a two-speed 4WD transmission and can run at either 8.5 mph or 15 mph.
