As stated in our previous updates, Balmers GM are and always have been committed to ensuring the highest levels of health, safety and welfare for all our customers, employee’s and suppliers alike.
In light of Prime Minister Boris Johnsons’ statement yesterday evening, we have reviewed our current operating procedures and made further changes to how we work in order to ensure that we can continue to support you and your business through these unprecedented and uncertain times that we are currently facing.
Our retail showrooms at both the Burnley and Wakefield depots are now closed to customers entering the premises until further notice.
We can however continue to supply machinery through our website: www.balmersgm.com
To place an order we ask that you telephone your local branch and to arrange payment. You will then be given a time slot to come to the depot to collect and we will ensure your goods are outside and ready for collection at the pre-arranged time slot. Or in some instances, delivery can be arranged, but not guaranteed.
Our parts departments remain open with minimal staffing levels. To place an order or arrange collection of parts, please contact us via the normal channels. All parts deliveries will be made using our network of external couriers.

Our workshops and service teams are continuing to support our customers, albeit with minimal staffing levels. For any machines that we currently have booked into our Service Department, arrangements can be made for your machines to be collected from either the Burnley or Wakefield depot at a pre-arranged time slot. Please contact your local branch for more information or to discuss your requirements.
Our Sales Team are already working remotely and are available to assist you however they can. Please contact your Area Sales Representative directly on their mobile phones and they will be more than happy to help. Our hire department remain open for business to provide support to all our customers with current hire contracts.
Administration & Accounts
If you have an enquiry or require any help form our administrative and accounts department, they are now working remotely from home, therefore can contacted via the usual channels.
